THRIVE COMPETITIVE TEAM is for individuals with a commitment to developing their basketball skills and a desire to compete at a higher level. The Competitive Team is a select team that will in various local tournaments, often taking place during the weekend. This program targets boys and girls ages 10 to 17 years old. The competitive team will join 3 to 4 local tournaments and joining a league from September to March 2025. U10 to U17 teams will also play various exhibition games against other teams. This program requires the players to attend the tryout to earn a spot on the team.

- September 16, 2024 – March 14, 2025 (25 weeks – 7 months)
- Excluding Holiday, Winter Break, Pro-D Day, and School Cancellations
Practice.
- Practice include: 3 hours a week with 1.5 hour per sessions
Local Tournament:
- 3 – 4 local tournaments, each guaranteeing 3- 4 thrilling games that occurs on the weekend.
League Game:
- Each guaranteeing 11 – 13 games that occurs on the weekend.
Exhibition Games
- 2 to 4 Exhibition Games.
Travel Tournament: *Only for Travel Team*
- 1 Settle tournament with 3 games over the weekend. Travel expenses, hotels, and foods, and other expenses are not included.

Our team will have the opportunity to participate in 2 to 4 or even more Exhibition Games throughout the season. These games will not only provide valuable experience but also serve as a chance to fine-tune the player’s skills and strategies.
To enhance the quality of our THRIVE Basketball tryout experience, all players are requested to submit a $20 non-refundable tryout fee. This fee is essential for organizing successful tryouts and ensures committed participation from all attendees. Additionally, if your child successfully makes it onto the team, this $20 will be deducted from the registration fees.
- Boys U10 – U11 – Tuesday, September 3, 2024 – 5:00pm – 6:30pm at Donna Gabriel
- Boys U12 – U13 – Thursday, September 5, 2024 – 5:00pm – 7:30pm at Donna Gabriel
- Boys U14 – U15 – Friday, September 6, 2024 – 5:00pm – 7:30pm at Yorkson Creek Middle School
